Ayurvedic Turmeric Chai Goodness! Warming, spicy, immune boosting and delicious. So golden, feel good and delicious!

As the winter is still lingering around, I am feeling a need for some sunshine, so I have opted for the golden Ayurvedic Turmeric Chai and I am happy to share the recipe so you too can make it this week or 'save' for later when feeling the need for some immune boosting goodness!

Recipe:

Ingredients:

- 2 cups of milk of your choice I prefer organic raw cows milk but you can use

rice or coconut!)

- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder

- 1/2 tsp cinnamon powder

- 1/2 tsp green cardamom pods (or 1/4 tsp powder)

- 1/8 tsp ginger powder (or 1/2 tbsp of freshly grated

ginger!)

- a few cracks of black pepper (I do approx 8 turns of my grinder!)

1 clove

- a pinch of fennel seeds

- a pinch of nutmeg

- your love!!!

Creation process:

1. Add your milk and spices to a saucepan and bring to a gentle boil for 7-10 mins to allow the spices to release their healing magic and goodness into the milk.

2. Turn the heat off, and let sit for 5mins, then serve in your favourite mug, and enjoy!!!
